Cloth and felt dolls
Inspired by the Waldorf educational theory, Katalin Pozsony from Romania established a small workshop in 1996 with a view to offering socially disadvantaged women the possibility of working from home. Since then she has tirelessly passed on her specialist knowledge and experience of cloth and felt dolls. With the aid of the artist Lucia Biru she still creates new models today, for example the delightful miniature flower dolls. She sews the large Waldorf dolls herself and also does all the marketing. Some of her felt dolls dressed in Romanian, Hungarian or Saxon traditional costumes can be found in museums.
