Inspired by Waldorf education, Katalin Pozsony founded a small studio in 1996 with the aim of offering socially disadvantaged women who could not pursue regular employment an opportunity to work at home. Specialising in the production of high-quality cloth and felt dolls, Katalin now tirelessly passes on her knowledge and skills. With the support of the artist Lucia Biru, she is constantly creating new models, such as the delightful miniature flower dolls. She still sews the large Waldorf dolls herself and also takes care of the distribution. Some of her felt dolls – dressed in Romanian, Hungarian or Saxon traditional costumes – can also be found in museums.
