30. Christbaum des Kultur- & Weihnachtsmarkt Schloss Schönbrunn wurde traditionell an den Tiergarten Schönbrunn übergeben.

A record-breaking 235 Christmas presents were handed over to SOS-Kinderdorf in Vienna by Christmas market organizer Gabriela Schmidle today. 

The Schönbrunn Palace New Year's Market starts on 27 December and runs until 4 January: Numerous New Year's greetings on the market grounds, cute lucky charms and daily live concerts by Dixie, swing and jazz ensembles accompany you into the New Year.

St. Nicholas himself will arrive in the festively decorated courtyard of honor on December 5 and 6. Dressed in his magnificent robes, he will be handing out sweets from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and enriching the festive atmosphere with his presence.

In front of the palace backdrop, traditional stalls, artistically decorated and framed by Christmas sounds, offer a unique shopping and enjoyment experience. The 30th Christmas Market Schloss Schönbrunn will open on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Today in the early hours of the morning, the Christmas tree for the Schönbrunn Palace Culture & Christmas Market arrived at the Court of Honor. This year's protagonist: a 40-year-old, 18-meter-high spruce from the ÖBf forest district of Gosau in Upper Austria.

A world of shimmering lights, delicious treats and festive music alongside the picturesque scenery of the baroque castle. The 30th Christmas Market and New Year's Market Schloss Schönbrunn will once again take place alongside a magnificent scenery this year.
